1.4kW 24V Complete Off-grid solar power system with 4 x 360W solar panels, 3kW hybrid inverter and a 7.2kWh battery bank

The 4x high-efficiency monocrystalline 360W solar panels in this kit are fitted with 2 x 0.9m cable with MC4 connectors.

This kit also includes a 3kW 24V Iconica Hybrid Inverter which intelligently combines the following in one single unit:

1. 3kW 24V Pure sine wave inverter: Converts DC current from the solar panels into 230V AC mains electricity to run more than a few appliances. Strong peak power handling capability of up to 6000VA (to start appliances with electric motors).

2. Inbuilt 60A MPPT solar charge controller: Regulates the input from the solar panels to the batteries, with protection against overcharge, overheating, reverse current and so on. Operates at up to 98% efficiency to extract maximum power. Performance data for the solar panels are displayed on the LCD screen.

3. 60A Smart battery charger: Protected & efficient unattended charging of the batteries from a mains power source or generator, with full overcharge protection and a couple of charging stages.

N.B: This inverter can accept input from the solar panels, mains power/ a generator and the batteries. Also includes a PC software CD & cable to view important system info. May also be connected to a Wi-Fi or 3G connection kit (sold one at a time) to unlock remote monitoring and communication functions.

The 24V 300Ah battery bank is comprised of 12 x 2V top quality AGM batteries, offering important advantages over banks made up of 12V batteries including a longer service life and deeper discharge capability.
