Tonka’s story started in a jar of pink peppercorns. Rummaging Within the kitchen spice cupboard, we came upon that beneath their peppery notes, they have got an intriguing floral fruitiness to their aroma.

Within the laboratory we mingled the peppercorn scent with the exuberance of mandarin, and added a layer of depth and richness with toasty woodland aromatics.
The finishing touch is provided by the vanilla-tobacco notes of the tonka bean – its captivating earthiness binds the fragrance together, and gives our complex and elegant scent its name.
