About The Conversion Efficiency:
The theoretical peak power (Pm) of our PowerOak SP120 solar panel is 120W according to its technical specifications, but the actual output power can not reach to 120W because every solar panel has a conversion efficiency which deponds on many factors including the weather conditions, the sunlight intensity, the length of the cable, the operation temperture, and the like. For example, the conversion efficiency of our 120W solar panel can reach up to about 70% in high altitude areas and about 60% in low altitude areas. Subsequently the peak power (Pm) is only a theoretical parameter that indicates the theoretical maximum performance of a solar panel and the actual output power of the solar panel will differ in different working conditions.

Please attention:
1). It’s highly recommend to place the solar panel in strong direct sunlight so that it could absorb enough sunlight and reach the maximal conversion efficiency. The output voltage and power will decline if the solar panel works on low sunlight.
2). Make certain that the front side of the solar panel is not partially covered when it works in sunlight, another way the solar panel may be damaged.
