2) WHY SHOULD I BOTHER WITH STOP CREAK WHEN WD-40 IS JUST AS GOOD?

Sheesh, don’t believe everything you read on the internet!

WD-40 is designed to release rusted nuts AND also recommended for polishing leather shoes amongst other things. Would you use WD-40 to polish your shoes or would you buy shoe polish?

More importantly, WD-40 is extremely flammable, it smells of gasoline and is NOT recommended for use indoors.

Stop Creak is designed for wood floors and nothing else and so it is much, much more effective at silencing creaky floors and it is non-flammable, odourless and 100% safe to use in the home.

3) IF MY FLOORS ARE NOT CLICK SYSTEM WITH GROOVES, WILL STOP CREAK WORK ANYWAY?

No. Stop Creak only works on Click System engineered wood and laminate floors.

4) WHAT IS A CLICK SYSTEM FLOATING FLOOR?

Most modern engineered wood and laminate floors use a click system that locks the planks together a bit like a giant jigsaw puzzle. These floors are also called “Floating Floors” as they aren’t nailed or screwed down.

Stop Creak is specifically designed for these floors because these floors have a tendency to be prone to shrinkage which causes the interlocking sections of wood to “hinge” underfoot which causes the squeaks and creaks. For Stop Creak to work it must be able to penetrate between the planks and penetrate the interlocking sections that “click” together.

5) HOW LONG DOES STOP CREAK LAST?
